tubercules

Postby cactuslover-italy » Fri Jul 23, 2010 3:16 pm

Hello everybody... :P
in 2008 I grafted 3 tubercles from 3 different Ariocarpus, 1 retusus pectinatus, 1 retusus variegated, and 1 fat tubercles....
During these 2 years they remain very good, both stock and tubercles, but still no offsets at all.....
Do you know how long have I to wait to see something coming out????

Hi,
I also grafted tubercles of Ariocarpus. Some of them produced offsets after a few months, some after one year, some after two years...

What is interesting: Young tubercles produce offsets faster than old tubercles, but cut young tubercles is a shame for a plant, I only do that, to save a rotting plant.
